About Tornei
Tornei is trick-taking games, under the theme of joste. There are 14 cards in hand for seven tricks per deal, and players bid at each trick, using two cards per trick. Translated Introduction from the rulebook: In medieval Europe, the medieval jousting tournament was initially a training exercise and mock battle, but it evolved into a popular form of entertainment. Players take on the role of a powerful noble, leading a knightly order, and competing for honor through their order's victories. However, they also secretly bet on the outcomes of each match. This game is designed for fans of trick-taking games, particularly those struggling to grasp the strategy behind bidding, and aims to provide a beginner-friendly introduction to the world of trick-taking games.
