Translated Introduction from the rulebook:
In medieval Europe, the medieval jousting tournament was initially a training exercise and mock battle, but it evolved into a popular form of entertainment. Players take on the role of a powerful noble, leading a knightly order, and competing for honor through their order's victories. However, they also secretly bet on the outcomes of each match.
