About One King One Crown
In One King One Crown, players enter a high stakes royal court as either scheming Nobles or the reigning King. Driven by negotiation and betrayal, players must form fragile alliances and backstab their rivals to seize power. The ultimate goal is to amass the most gold by the end of the game's four rounds (to become the King). Gameplay centers on playing cards to hoard wealth, defend yourself with Knights, or attack opponents. Notably, Betrayal cards require support from another player to take effect, forcing temporary and often treacherous alliances. While the King wields extra cards and unique abilities to maintain control, the Nobles constantly plot to overthrow them and steal the crown. After four rounds of dealing, scheming, and stealing, the player with the most gold (and thereby the new king) is declared the winner.
