How to play

Setup, how a turn works and how the game ends, summarised from the rulebook by Eko, Meepzy's rules assistant.

Setup Choose a player to be the first player (p. 24). Subsequent players receive additional health or starting items depending on player count, and in 3-4 player games, the last player starting clockwise receives the Target (p. 24). Each player draws 5 cards from their personal deck as their starting hand (p. 24).

How a Turn Works A player's turn follows this structure:

  • Move one space right on the Training track (p. 21).
  • In any order and any number of times, play cards from your hand, Burn or Flare metals on cards, use a card as a metal, discard a card to refresh a Flared metal, activate Ally and character abilities, and move up on Mission tracks (p. 21).
  • Buy cards and Boxings from the market (p. 21).
  • Attack Allies and players to reduce player health, after which the Target may be moved if the Target holder took damage (p. 21).
  • Discard any cards in play (besides Allies) and any remaining cards in hand, then draw 5 new cards from your deck (p. 3, 21).

How the Game Ends The game can end in one of three ways in competitive play:

  • If a player reaches the top of all three Mission tracks, they instantly win (p. 21).
  • If a player is the last remaining player with all others eliminated, they win (p. 21).
  • If a player plays Atium on the card confrontation, they win (p. 21).
