You stand face-to-face with the unfathomable darkness of the Abyss. Its corruption has claimed the souls of great heroes and warriors in the past. How will you stand against its immeasurable darkness? Even if you find a way to keep your soul pure and reach the depths of the chasm, you must still face Manus, who stands vigil over his desecrated resting place. Can you defeat this unfathomable darkness and bring light into the shadows, or will your soul spend eternity in the Abyss? We first met Manus in the iconic final encounter from the Artorias of the Abyss video game expansion. Now, this terrifying mega boss will cast his shadow over your tabletop. Yes—the Father of the Abyss has finally come to the board game! Afraid? Your fears are well-founded. Inside this brand new expansion, you’ll find a gigantic mega boss miniature to fight, a mega boss tile to travel, deadly new boss behaviours to learn, a new battle mechanic to master, and—if you succeed—unique new boss treasures to plunder. This expansion also adds new encounter cards which plunge you into larger battles than ever before, introducing a whole new level of peril. Are you up to the challenge?
