The stakes just got higher! Alien invaders seek to disable the fearsome defences of the Imperial world of Volkus. Descending from the void in the dark of night, Vespid Stingwing kill teams strike at the gigantic gun that protects the capital’s hive city. Responding swiftly to the threat, elite Tempestus Aquilons soar to battle and launch a counterattack intended to secure the Great Gun and drive off the insectile raiders.
Kill Team: Hivestorm is the ideal way to launch into the new edition of Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team! Command elite kill teams of formidable Tempestus Scions or insectoid Vespid Stingwings to victory in the hostile streets and deadly rooftops of Volkus – a vital Hive City in the Chalnath Expanse.
Set in the same universe and using the same miniatures ranges as Warhammer 40,000 but with a different rules set, it allows you to play a game of fast-paced tactical skirmish combat in less time and with a fraction of the models you’d need to play a full game of Warhammer 40,000.
As well as two complete kill teams of brand-new plastic miniatures, this boxed set contains everything you need to enter the Killzone – from the full Kill Team: Core Book, tokens, and dice to a game board, war-torn urban terrain, and universal equipment. This box also contains the Approved Operations card pack, keeping your games balanced and competitive with additional victory conditions and mission maps for your Killzone.
