The Chefe (Chief) Promo Card, distributed at the 2024 Diversão Offline (DOFF) board game fair by the publisher Grok.
---
Rule Changes:
During Stage 4 of Preparation, shuffle the Chief along with the other Character Cards to form the draw deck.
In Phase 1: Supply, when removing Character Cards from the deck, remove three cards instead of two; two of them are face down and one is face up.
Remember: if the face-up card is the Goat, it must be replaced with another card from the deck.
New Character Effect
The Chief includes a new type of effect, the Delayed Effect. Delayed Effects are indicated by the hourglass icon and are activated at the end of the Saloon Phase, after all Characters in the Saloon have had their effects resolved.
Chief
Unlike other Characters, the Chief does not have a corresponding Location. He is positioned next to a Location chosen by the player controlling him at the time he is revealed.
Delayed Effect: Collect all Belonging Tokens OR Coins from the location where the Chief is.
If the location has no Coins or Belonging Tokens, too bad, you receive nothing.
